Intego, thankfully, appears to follow most good business practices when it comes to the sign-up process, with one notable exception.įirst, you can purchase Intego’s software directly, or after a free trial period. The sign-up process is the first place where one can find consumer-friendly (or unfriendly) policies. Key among these are transparency and ease-of-navigation without additional product-pushing.

There are a few key things to look for when it comes to a sign-up and installation. Taken together, both lab tests show Intego’s antivirus tool performs at a particularly high level, effectively identifies and quarantines all malware in its path, avoids sending back false reports or misidentifying programs and trusted files as malware, and may have only a marginal impact on system processing speeds.
